25-minute maryland crab cakes

Step 1:  Gather the Ingredients

mayonnaise, eggs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, Creole seasoning, celery, green onions, minced garlic, parsley, crab meat, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.

Step 2:  Mix wet ingredients

Mayonnaise, eggs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and Creole seasoning.

Step 3:  Add the Crab Meat

Check the meat. Remove any cartilage.

Step 4:  Add the bread crumbs (or crackers), pepper and salt.

Step 5:  Gently Fold the Mixture

Fold mixture together, avoiding shredding the crab meat.

Step 6:  Shape the Crab Cakes

Shape mixture into 6-8 disks, ½ cup each, and place on a greased pan.

Step 7:  Refrigerate for 1 Hour

Chill for 1 hour to set cakes, and not break apart during cooking.

Step 8:  Cook the crab cakes

Fry crab cakes until golden brown, flipping once. Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
