Thaw pie pastry for 45 mins. Combine butter, sugar, spices, salt, cornstarch in saucepan. Add apples, lemon juice. Simmer 3-4 mins, set aside to cool.
Add filling, brush edges with water. Fold over, crimp with a fork.
Heat oil to 350℉. Fry 2-3 pies at a time for 5-6 mins, golden brown and cooked through. Enjoy!
