Quick & Tasty in 20 Minutes

Homemade Garlic Bread

This Homemade Garlic Bread is the quickest bread side dish that you can prepare right before serving a meal.

Hassle-free, flavorful bread better than store-bought and also very affordable.

Crusty on the outside and buttery soft on the inside!

The hardest part is perhaps resisting the urge to eat the entire loaf.

Yes, you’ll thank me later for the early warning. 😉

Prefer French loaf for garlic bread due to right crust to bread ratio, but regular bread or hamburger buns also work.

What Types of Bread Can You Use?

No Italian or Creole seasoning? No problem. Salt, herbs, garlic, and butter are enough. Adding the seasonings elevates the flavor in each slice of the bread.

Add cheese for a cheesy twist - try 1 1/2 cup of mozzarella and/or parmesan cheese.

Use a pastry brush or spoon to spread an even coating of butter mixture on the top of bread and on both sides of the bread slices.

Wrap bread in foil, place on baking sheet, bake 15 minutes. Open foil, bake 5 minutes more for toasted top. Serve warm.

Quick alternative: cut bread in half, spread mixture and sprinkle cheese, bake on lined sheet 10-15 minutes until toasty.
