Deliciously Simple, Easy to Make Caribbean Recipe

Wash rice until water runs clear. Drain water.

Heat a saucepan with oil. Add onions, garlic, thyme, and hot pepper. Sauté for about a minute.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 20 minutes (more or less).

Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Adjust for salt and pepper. Discard bay leaves.
