Crawfish boil is a spiced one-pot meal with crawdads and fixings, served on newspaper in the center of a table. Outdoor dining is acceptable.

Fill a pot with water, crawfish boil, Creole seasoning, bouillon, and salt. Boil and add garlic, onion, bay leaves, potatoes, and lemon. Cook until potatoes are tender, around 15 mins. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Add crawfish, corn, and sausage to the pot and cook for 5-8 minutes until crawfish turn red. Rest for 10 mins.

Turn off the heat and let the crawfish steep for 10 minutes. Strain and discard lemon, bay leaves, garlic, and onion from pot. Put crawfish, potatoes, corn, and sausage in serving tray.

How Do You Eat Crawfish? Peel the shell and remove the head of crawfish to eat. Suck the contents of the head and gently crack claws with teeth. Practice to perfect!
