Cocktail Sauce Recipe – tasty spicy homemade sauce made primarily with ketchup, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce and horseradish. Comes ready in less than 5 minutes. The perfect dipping sauce to entertain your guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1-2 tablespoons horseradish , adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Shrimps Cocktail

  • 1 pound (12 to 15 pieces) shrimps
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon good olive oil
  • 1-2 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine and mix all ingredients either by hand or a blender. For a milder sauce use less horse radish.  Let it sit in the fridge first for 60 minutes before serving.

Shrimps Cocktail

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper 
  • In a medium bowl mix shrimp with creole seasoning salt, pepper and  oil place in  a single layer.
  • Roast shrimp for 8 -10 minutes, or until shrimp turns pink and firm and is cooked through. Set aside to cool. Garnish with parsley
  • Serve with cocktail sauce.
