South African Dessert Pie with Press-On Pastry Crust

Prep 9" pie pan. Mix flour, salt, sugar. Add butter, pulse. Add yolk, knead gently. Press crust into pan. Freeze 30 mins.

Bake crust at 400°F for 20-25 mins. Set aside.

Heat milk, butter, nutmeg. Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar, vanilla, almond extract, eggs. Whisk into milk mixture.

Cook filling until it bubbles. Pour into baked crust. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Chill tart before serving. Let flavors meld together.
