Ingredients

  • ½ cup (116 g) mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup (57.5 g) sour cream
  • ¼ cup (61 g) Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon (3 g) minced fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon (4 g) parsley leaves , minced
  • 1 tablespoon (3 g) fresh dill , minced
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) garlic , minced
  • ¼ teaspoon (0.5 g) onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 g) kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon (1 g) ground black pepper
  • ¼ - ½ cup (61 - 122 g) buttermilk (as needed for desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, parsley, dill, garlic, onion powder, mustard, hot sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper until fully blended.

  2. Gently pour in the buttermilk a little at a time and mix until fully combined and at desired consistency.

  3. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. Serve with baked chicken, fish or any veggies of your choice.

Recipe Notes

  1. I sometimes swap plain white vinegar for fresh lemon juice, both acids work beautifully well in the dressing.
  2. Either sour cream or yogurt can be used for this recipe, just make sure you have ½ cup of whatever cream you choose to use. I often prefer a combination of both.
