Shrimply Irresistible: Fried Shrimp Delight

Juicy, crispy, and seasoned to perfection. It's a finger-licking good experience you won't forget!

I can't recall the exact moment I fell in love with shrimp. As a child, I would sneak a fried shrimp or two while my mother waited for them to cool on paper towels.😁

Thus, the birth of my shrimp obsession! Not a week goes by without shrimp on my menu. Be it a I love anything SHRIMP!

In a large bowl mix together, cornmeal, flour, garlic & onion powder, cayenne, salt and pepper. Mix buttermilk and eggs. Set aside.

Dip shrimp in buttermilk mixture and lightly deep into the flour mixture.

Fry shrimp in batches until crispy, 3-4 mins (size dependent). For larger pieces, cook about 6 mins/side. Remove with slotted spoon, place on cookie rack for crispness. Repeat with remaining shrimp.

Tips for perfect fried shrimps: pat dry, use canola/peanut oil, regular/self-rising flour, don't overcook with too hot oil, fry in batches for 3-4 minutes.
