Loves Chicken Alfredo, but want something other than pasta? Try it on a pizza form! CHICKEN ALFREDO PIZZA – a chicken-loaded, white, and cheesy alternative to the usual red-sauced pizzas. Perfect for Friday pizza night or a socially-distanced gathering with a few of your friends.
Using either your hands or a rolling pin to work the dough into a 14" circle.
Line a pizza pan with parchment paper and transfer dough to the pan. Either pinch the edges or fold them over to form a crust.
Use a fork to poke holes all over the center of the pizza to keep the dough from bubbling up in the oven. Prebake for about 10 minutes. Then remove and let it cool.
Top with white pizza sauce (aka Alfredo sauce), followed by cooked chicken, bell pepper, Mozzarella, basil, and any desired toppings.
Bake at 450°F (232°C) for 15-18 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown.
Let it cool, slightly slice and serve.
Notes
You may also top the pizza with a leftover roasted chicken or leftover Thanksgiving turkey.
Pizza dough can either be homemade (check my Homemade Pizza Dough HERE) or store-bought. You can use ready to bake doughs, canned, gluten-free, whole wheat, or whatever you like.
