Ingredients

  • ½ cup (65g) buttermilk powder
  • 1 tablespoon (2g) dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon (2g) dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon (7g) onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon (5g) garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon (3g) dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon (3g) dried chives (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon (6g) salt
  • 1 teaspoon (2.5g) black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl or jar, combine all the ingredients: buttermilk powder, dried parsley, basil, chives, dill leaves, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined.
  • Use to make ranch buttermilk dressing, dip, or seasoning for popcorn.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container (or ziplock bag).

Notes

  1. For a finer texture, grind the ingredients in a blender, spice grinder, or mortar and pestle.
  2. Check the expiration dates on your dried herbs because you want this mix to last as long as possible. It's only as fresh as the ingredients you use.
  3. Please remember that the nutritional information is a rough estimate and can vary significantly based on the products used in the recipe.
