Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225g) mayonnaise
  • cup (40g) diced onion
  • ½ teaspoon (3-4g) minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons (50g) ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons (45g) sweet pickle relish
  • 2 teaspoons (10ml) lemon juice or white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (3g) sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) hot sauce (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Mix the mayo, onion, garlic, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and hot sauce in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Adjust the seasonings with salt, pepper, vinegar, hot sauce, or ketchup.
  • Let it chill covered for 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator for a deeper and more harmonious flavor.
