Creamy Coleslaw Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1-2 tablespoons (15-30g) mustard
  • 1 teaspoon (7g) salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼-⅓ cup (50-65g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) white vinegar (adjust until you get desired tang)
  • 1 cup (236g) mayonnaise (cut in half and add more yogurt if desired)
  • 1 teaspoon (2-3g) black pepper
  • 1-2 teaspoons (2-4g) celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon (2-3g) onion powder
  • 5 ounces (140g) non-fat Greek yogurt

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine mustard, salt, sugar, vinegar, mayonnaise, pepper, celery seeds, and onion powder. Whisk.
  • Then add the Greek yogurt and continue whisking until thoroughly combined.
  • Refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Use fresh ingredients. The fresher your ingredients, seasonings included, the tastier your dressing will be. 
  • Whisk for a few minutes. Keep whisking even after the ingredients seem to fully combine. That way, you'll be sure the sugar has dissolved. 
  • Shake before using. Give your creamy coleslaw dressing a good shake or stir before applying it to your freshly shaved cabbage to ensure the ingredients haven't separated.
