Ingredients

  • 1 cup (227g) unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
  • 4-5 large cloves garlic, minced (or 7-8 roasted garlic cloves)
  • 3-4 tablespoons (12-16g) chopped parsley or chives
  • ½-1 teaspoon (3-6g) salt

Optional

Instructions

  • Combine the softened butter, garlic, parsley, and salt in a small mixing bowl. Mix with a small rubber spatula or wooden spoon until thoroughly combined.
  • Place herbed butter on plastic wrap and gently roll it to form a log. Pinch and fold or knot the ends of the plastic wrap.
  • Store sealed in the refrigerator for at least an hour or until butter firms up.
  • Remove, unwrap, and slice into circles, or store until needed. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Roasting your garlic first adds flavor.
