Parmesan Crusted Tilapia – A super quick and easy tilapia dish coated with well-seasoned breadcrumbs and parmesan. A healthier and quick addition to your busy weeknight menu. Comes ready in less than 20 minutes!
Tilapia is one of those fish that my family would totally devour. When I thought I’ve cooked the best tilapia to date (my Baked Tilapia did hold the 1st spot quite a while), my 9-year old son blurted out that this Parmesan Crusted Tilapia is his favorite dish ever. And hubby, did agree.
It was like one of those fancy minute fish serving you order at a fine resto minus the hefty price tag. I cannot stress enough how easy this fish recipe is and how it was demolished by my foodie family. I had to make it again the next day. Oh yesss! It might be a good one to add to your Valentine’s Day menu or Date night.
You’ll see in the photos why we love this so much. It has a beautiful crispy crust yet so flaky and juicy on the inside. Can I get a slow clap for this please?! Okay, maybe am pushing it.
While many would have trouble getting the breadcrumb parmesan mixture to stick to the fish, my little trick here is to also add a little oil to the breadcrumb. This makes your work easier.
If you don’t have breadcrumbs. you can also use crushed Ritz crackers. If you’re not pressed with time, you may place the breaded fish into the fridge before cooking them.
You can serve this crusted tilapia with brown rice and green salad on the sides. Oh how you’ll love the flavor in every bite. The cheesy, savory, tangy flavor just fall into its right place. It’s like a party in your palate!
Don’t ever pass up this easy dish or you’ll regret sooner. Happy eating!
Tips and Notes:
